Investigators in NYC say they have found the potential source of an outbreak of the mysterious ‘monorail coronavirus’ that has sickened dozens of people and killed 13 in the United States.
It’s part of an effort to protect New Yorkers from the virus, and for those planning a trip to the city in the coming months, Health officials urge tourists to consult with their doctor about a possible preventive vaccination or decontamination of their vehicle before visiting the Big Apple.
The New York Times is reporting that by Monday it is expected that tests will determine if the virus responsible for the recent outbreak has been found in a sandwich found in New York City’s Bronx borough, after a cold and flu virus was traced to the sandwich.
The investigation is continuing.
