Saudi Arabia is investigating allegations that a senior adviser to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman offered a teenage Saudi woman a package of sexual services in Istanbul in exchange for her abandoning her planned departure for the U.S.

After speaking to Fox News on the condition of anonymity to discuss personal details of her case, Umm Halima, the daughter of a former official who lives in the U.S., said the offer was made on April 13, when the Saudi diplomatic representative at the consulate in Istanbul gave her a box she claimed was filled with pizza and cupcakes.

“It was a sick deal to offer me,” she said. “If I came to be a hooker, they will pay my plane ticket from the border of Saudi Arabia to America. I refused that offer.”

Hanin Zainul Abedin, the Saudi consul general in Istanbul, rejected allegations that Saudi officials offered $10,000 to the girl to stay in Istanbul.

“There is no truth to this story,” Abedin told The Washington Post. “We categorically deny any such offer being made. We will take it up with the authorities in Turkey.”
